White Tees: My Top 5 Favorites
White tees are a year-round staple for me – styled solo in peak New England summers or layered under my favorite knits and sweatshirts during the coldest winter months. I’ve tried a ton over the years so here are my top 5 favorites (in no particular order) and how I wear them.
1 / Uniqlo: Crew Neck
This has been a staple in my wardrobe for years – it's $15 and feels very substantial and is completely opaque. The neckline looks so nice under sweaters, but I also find myself wearing it as a stand-alone tee with jeans.
2 / Perfect White Tee: Harley Tee
I wear this year-round, but it’s really lightweight and ideal for summer. It’s slightly cropped, perfectly boxy and super soft. This brand does basics really well – they make my favorite sweats, too.
3 / Free People: Nina Tee
This is my go-to for layering under sweaters and sweatshirts. It’s oversized, has a raw hem and is slightly longer which is nice when you want it to peek out.
4 / Everlane: Box-Cut Tee in Essential Cotton
Another style similar to the Harley Tee above, but not quite as lightweight, and has a much friendlier price point.
5 / Rag & Bone: The Slub Long Sleeve
I have this in both the short and long-sleeved style. I wear this long sleeve on repeat during the cooler months – it’s an investment, but well worth it if you like to layer and live in a cooler climate.
